Chemical Peel Procedures
The choice of chemical depends on the degree of correction that is needed and the improvement desired. Under the medical guidance of your doctor, his highly trained aesthetic staff will take the time to discuss your expectations and needs prior to your procedure. Together, the two of you will decide which peel is the best choice for you. Peeling techniques have been refined in recent years, allowing more precise control and improved results.
Our medical spa offers various topical chemical peels, which are an effective method to treat acne, sun damage, fine lines and mild scarring. A series of peels combined with our microdermabrasion treatments are extremely beneficial in helping undo the undesirable effects of time and the environment on your skin and improve your overall skin texture. You will realize the greatest benefit through a series of three treatments. Your aesthetician will analyze your skin physiology and recommend a procedure that is right for you.
With artistic eyes, precise hands, and understanding hearts, Drs. Brent and Cody Koch enhance faces and change lives.
Recovery will depend on the type of peel that is selected. Deeper peels can cause the skin to become red, raw, and very flaky as the skin sloughs away. Some women and men schedule this procedure around important events while this takes place. Others produce more of a "sunburn" effect, which is more tolerable. Some peels performed at our medical spa are very mild, and you can return immediately to work and most regular activities afterward.
Your doctor can discuss all of your options during your comprehensive consultation. Men and women interested in chemical peels are encouraged to request a consultation online or call our office at (515) 277-5555 to schedule an appointment.
The nominal consultation fee covers an extensive, personal consultation with either Dr. Brent Koch or Dr. Cody Koch. He will listen intently to what you have to say, and together the two of you will develop the best approach to your treatment. Women and men who proceed with the procedure at the time of consultation will have their consultation fee applied toward their procedure.
